Ian Mallery

  Ian joined Arcadian in February 2022 & has over 45years of insurance experience. Ian was formerly Head of Claims at The Channel Syndicate 2015, whereby he established & built a Multi Class Claims Team. 

Prior to that Ian was Claims Manager at Marlborough Underwriting between 1997 - 2014 & held various senior positions within Aon, JH Minets & Bell Nicholson Henderson prior to joining Marlborough.

Ian brings extensive knowledge in dealing with ‘complex’ claims, the Lloyd’s Minimum Standards, claims operations & was instrumental in facilitating the implementation of Channel’s Claims Management System. Ian chaired the LMA Electronic Claims Practitioner Committee from 2003 - 2006 that oversaw the design & implementation of ECF in the London Market, going live in 2006.

Ian will be working closely with Ian Simes & assisting in providing the Arcadian team with additional training & imparting his wealth of market knowledge.
