Ian is a very experienced claims specialist with 40 years in the Lloyd's and London insurance market, specialising in complex and high-value claims, multi-class portfolios, and delegated claims authority oversight.

He recently led the management of a large DCA panel, delivering a major rationalisation programme and strengthening technical performance within delegated authorities across all classes through enhanced audit, engagement and oversight frameworks. His prior roles focused on Casualty and A&H classes, where he combined strategic leadership with hands-on management of complex, high-value and technically challenging claims across a range of jurisdictions, frequently as Market Lead.

At Arcadian, Ian supports complex and specialty claims reviews, providing senior technical input across claims audits, peer reviews and advisory work.
