Ian Simes

Ian is the founder & current MD of Arcadian & has over 41 years Lloyd’s / London Market insurance / reinsurance industry experience. Within the last 20 years, Ian has conducted more than 400 Underwriting & Third-Party Administrators ‘TPA’ Claims Audits Worldwide, split (70%) TPA’s & (30%) Approved Coverholders.  

Arcadian remains one of the longest established Expert Claims Peer Review firms & has continued to improve the review process over an 18-year period for a leading Lloyd’s Syndicate. Ian currently performs a quarterly Expert Claims Peer Review function for 3 separate Lloyd’s Syndicates.

In 2019 Arcadian commenced an Expert Claims Peer Review of another London Market entity who act on behalf of numerous Managing Agents. 

Arcadian celebrated 20 successful years on 26th March 2023 & Ian has continued to grow the global footprint which now includes Australian & Canadian operations.
